Greek myth project!

Greek myth project **REDONE** by jerseydevil123, made at DoInk.com

My greek project. This is the pic that goes with it

Here's da myth story thing:

Why animals dont have bright colored fur:

Long ago, animals fur was colorful. Animals had shades of green, blue, red, and sometimes had gold and silver shining in their pelts. Everything was peaceful. Emberus-the god of color, and Blazeus- the god of animals were great friends. That was until Emberus grew angry at Blazeus. Blazeus acted as if he was the color god, and Emberus never existed. He would add colors to things that were never meant to be colorful, change the colors of things, and make colors- his job was to create animals, not colors. And he did the unthinkable; he gave colors to the other gods! He never even thought to give Emberus credit! This made Emberus grow bitter. Then he thought of a nasty trick to put Blazeus in his place. He put the dullest, most boring, and most hateful and hurtful colors in a pouch and then called upon Blazeus. He told him to meet him at the mountain where the gods usually met. He told him that he had new colors that he wounldnt  believe. They met, and Blazeus foolishly took the pouch. Emberus disappeared into thin air immediately. Blazeus, hopeful as could be, opened the pouch. But to his surprise and horror the worst colors he had ever seen came out at him. Black-for hate and envy. A yellowish blend- for how pure their friendship once was. Blue/gray shades- for their lost friendship. Brown- for the dullness of the world. Orange/red- for death, and anger. And lastly, white, for life. The colors stained the animals fur, and their once beautiful fur colors came back to Emberus. He also took away the ability to see color for some animals, and messed up the vision of color for others. As for animals with feathers and scales, the colors couldntt reach the feathery creatures, for they out flew the colors. And the scaled animals were hidden by the mud and water. As for all the rest, they had lost all their beautiful colors, except in their eyes. And not one animal gave birth to another multi colored creature. Now, every time it is bright and colorful out, that is Blazeus begging Emberus for forgiveness. And every time an animal that is in danger survives, that is Emberus showing his approval.
